Welcome Note

Clinical Ultrasonogrpahy in Practice (CUSP) is a biennial conference that has always drawn people to Chennai, to share, discuss, and learn as well as to meet and renew friendships and acquaintances. Like we do each year, the team has worked to put together a program that promises to reinforce strong concepts, tease out controversies and explain the intricacies of newer technology.

This XVI CUSP is proud and happy to offer the basic ISUOG obstetric ultrasound training as part of the program. This is a systematic learning programme of four sessions consisting of thirty-five modules put together. Along with a choice of focussed workshops and interactive scientific sessions, this year’s conference covers a wide range of topics in Obstetrics, gynaecology, general ultrasound genetics and fetal medicine true to the theme “from roots to fruits”.

A distinguished national and international faculty will share their knowledge on the advancements in this field and also reiterate the need for strong fundamentals. Our faculty are always known to deliver concepts well and there will be ample time to interact with them. There is an excellent opportunity for presenting your own work through posters and oral presentations.

Chennai remains a place of tradition and culture where the sound of music and rustle of silk mingles seamlessly with medical expertise and knowledge.

We welcome you to be part of it all. Come and join the CUSP family between the 27th -30th of September 2018.
